Homeless In Mexico and Immigration
I just got back from a trip to Campeche for my loveâs birthday. Iâll have some videos next week.
This week I wanted to write about a young couple from Guatemala asking for money while in Campeche. Begging for money is actually really rare in the areas Iâve been in in Mexico. Iâm not saying it doesnât happen in Mexico, but I rarely have seen it. Iâve seen it in the US a lot more.
I do see a lot of people selling things. It seems that almost everyone is an entrepreneur here in Mexico.
They escaped a brutal gangster area in Guatemala and tried to immigrate to the USA but were not allowed to enter the USA, so they are making their way back down to Guatemala to find a non-violent area to live.
We saw them a number of times make their way thru the tourist area asking for money so they could eat and get some supplies to make the rest of the trip.
We were approached by guitar players and clothing sellers quite a number of times while eating on this pedestrian street in Campeche. Thatâs normal. A polite âNo, graciasâ and they move on.
Iâve also purchased quite a number of things from street sellers including my hand-made laundry basket for US $35 which I love.
I even loved a street guitarist so much once that I hired him to play at my loveâs birthday party a few years ago when we lived in Playa del Carmen Mexico. He was awesome and got some more gigs from my friends.
We wished the Guatemala couple well and gave them enough money to get some good meals and traveling money back home.
The immigration process for the continent is a mess and Iâm no politician to have a solution. But, it needs some serious help. There are so many really great people that can take advantage of opportunities and really contribute to society if only allowed.

Mexico Beach Home Renovation Vlog
The renovation is complete. The steam room door was installed yesterday and Iâll show that in an upcoming video. A thorough renovation review video was posted two weeks ago.
Plus new video on Solar Panel System Review.
Expat News
The UK, South Korea, and Canada are three of many countries that are starting to see the Omnicron virus spread and the start of further restrictions being implemented. I havenât seen any effect from it here in Yucatan or Campeche Mexico yet.
Yucatan State is still in the Green zone with infections not increasing.

Learning Spanish
I highly recommend the Mexican Moms Review YouTube Channel as it teaches about Mexican culture but there is a lot of Spanish as well to learn from. I learn Spanish while learning about Rock nâ Roll in Latin America. Highly recommended show as well. It rocked. đ
If you want to learn Spanish and enjoy all of Latin America and Spain then start right now. Get our recommended Spanish Audio and PDF Class and get working on your Spanish, it takes time so why not start now.
Virtual Mailbox
The day after I decided to leave the US and see the world slowly I got a mail forwarding service, aka a Virtual Mailbox. I need a place that could receive my US mail and scan it so I could read it from anywhere in the world. Now nearly four and a half years later I just love how easy it makes my life.
I get an email when I get mail. I click on the link and read my mail. I save the PDF files for banking and tax stuff for my account in DropBox and then Iâm done.

Watching TV via VPN in a foreign country
When you are physically outside the US or Canada (or your home country) Netflix, Amazon Prime and other streaming services have different catalogs depending on the country.
For instance, Frasier is one of my favorite shows, Iâve seen all the episodes three times, yes all 11 years three times. So Frasier is only available on Netflix US and not Netflix Mexico. So I have to use a VPN to look like Iâm in the US for me to watch the show on Netflix.
When I turn on my VPN and hit refresh I now get Netflix US and can watch that plus many other things.
Get our recommended VPN and watch what you want no matter where you are located.
My Business Courses
Iâm retired from clients and only involved in my company. So these courses are my advice on being an entrepreneur and business owner.
